" I have been using Burnedge for the past two years and my dog Kuga loves it there! Martin and Lesley go to great lengths to ensure the dogs and cats are catered for whatever their needs may be. The girls that work there are great with the dogs giving them lots of attention and love. They’re exercised regular whatever the weather so the dogs aren’t stuck in pens all day. The place is spotless and it smells fresh and clean,I know I can go away on holiday and not worry about my gorgeous boy " whilst he’s in Burnedge."

"Adult care support
Absolutely fantastic service for Ruffus who came through Adult care service requiring to be homed for a short time after his owner needed to have some time in hospital. Lesley went above and beyond to ensure he had a comfortable stay, she soon identified he was a quiet cat and provided all the essential for him to feel safe. Cattery was spotless, very clean, tidy, well maintained. Ruffus even had a new toy, some food, a new brush, a clean bed, new litter tray and pellets all sent home with him free of charge. Will definatley be using this service again and will be ensuring Social services are aware of these great service right on our door step. Thank you Kim"

Its only took 3 years of pestering my husband for a dog and now we have Archie, our beautiful golden cocker spaniel – who I may add is as ‘mad as a box of frogs’! Why has it taken us 3 years? We have a busy lifestyle, go on holidays frequently and I work away sometimes. We don’t have family who could look after him when we are away, so it was always a constant barrier to that next step, but then we found Lesley & Martin at Burnedge Kennels & Cattery – what an amazing couple. They genuinely love every single one of the dogs and cats they look after and treat them as their own.
Archie loves going, he bounds out of the car nearly pulling me over, just to get to Martin. They do exactly what they say on the website – take them out 4 times a day and not just round the paddock, they take him long walks too. He adores them and they adore him.
They are extremely transparent, they show you around the premises and let you see everything - the kennels and cattery are immaculate, the areas surrounding the kennels are immaculate – you can see they take great pride in what they do, this is not just a job to them, it’s an absolute vocation and they are genuine, experienced, and caring animal lovers.
You will definitely not be disappointed if you boarded your fur babies here with them and you can rest easy knowing they will be spoiled and looked after 150%. The kennels all have heated pads, so never worry about your ‘baby’ getting cold (that was one of my initial worries!). I would NEVER take them anywhere else, and I can honestly say Lesley & Martin are as big a part of Archie’s life, as I’m sure he is theirs.
